There is a good chance that either you, a loved one or a friend will be filing for unemployment benefits in the next few months. Whether you qualify for state unemployment or the additional federal benefits under the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and. Economic Security) Act you will typically need the following information ready to get the process started:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Contact Information
- Social Security Number
- Employer names, address, telephone numbers as well as the dates of employment within the last 18 months.
- For union members have the name and phone number of your union contact.
