I am all for paying off our mortgage as fast as we can. I know how interest works and of course I don’t want to be paying extra to someone else forever. However everytime I tell someone what they always say, you can write off all your interest. Someone please explain this to me. My husband and I just purchased our first home last October. Thank you in advance. 

What is the best pet insurance? My dog has bad teeth and is half Dachshund so he may potentially have back problems in the future as he gets older.

Please excuse my ignorance. People frequently say maxed out referring to 529, 401k, IRA. What does that mean? Is there a max you can give, or just a max that’s most beneficial?
