Not planning on buying a car right now but will be in a few years. So here is my question. If you are through the baby steps and have a fully funded emergency fund. Then but a car 2-3 years old and  you have some saved for Down payment but not enough to pay cash, do you use your emergency fund to pay it all off leaving just 1000 then start saving your fund again?
